The idea stems from Cristina Dorantes' concern on taking care of our environment in a different and fun way. As part of a university project students were given free rein and were asked to create an innovative product. Knowing that her life goal is to support the flora and fauna, Cristina took on the task of creating something eco-friendly. After a party and seeing all the garbage that it generated, the designer asked herself... what if we could eat our garbage?
From that simple question today there is an international company focused on creating innovative products that support the environment. Caro Dorantes enters with the concern of being a factor of change and taking Foodlab all over the world.
Today a company owned by women and staffed by 99.9999% women, Foodlab is an example for all those who want to make a positive impact on their environment.
